Habitat Hoppers, Ages 7-9

July 19-23  Daily Monday-Friday 8:50am-3pm

$400 members, $475 non-members

Habitat Hoppers will discover the unique habitats of Nantucket and the interesting creatures that inhabit them. Hands-on activities, games, projects, and active observation will keep your child excited and interested! They will gain an understanding and appreciation of the natural world around them.

Class description for Animals and Art: Join the Maria Mitchell Association and the Artists Association of Nantucket for this action-packed week of exploration and creative expression! Wildlife and art come together through guided discovery paired with in-depth art projects such as drawing, printmaking, watercolors, and more at the Artist Association's studio.

Class details: Meets at the Maria Mitchell Association at 2 Vestal Street in the mornings. Pickup in the afternoon is at the Artists Association studio. Please read over this information before you register for classes. By registering your child you are certifying that your child meets the age requirements for this class as of June 1, 2010.
