Family Astronomy Night

$25 members, $35 non-members for an adult-child pair.

Come with your child to discover the "creatures" found inthe night sky and learn how to identify stars and constellations. Beginning at the Vestal Street Observatory (3 Vestal Street) Children will learn about the myths behind the creatures in the "celestial zoo," visit our public and research telescopes, and observe with a big telescope at the Loines Observatory, if the weather permits. A unique opportunity for you and your children to visit both the Vestal Street Observatory and Loines Observatory in one evening.
