The MMA Astronomy Department shares its knowledge and expertise through hands-on workshops, lectures, and special observational programs.  Discover how to put your backyard telescope to its best use or discover the challenges of learning the techniques of celestial navigation through one of the hands-on workshops taught by the Astronomy Department staff.  Hear about recent discoveries in the universe at our summer lecture series featuring world renown astronomers from universities and observatories from around the world.
